Anna

Movement Health Specialist

Bodyworker & Holistic Performance  Coach

THE PROBLEM

Hip, back, shoulder. An old pattern is back. Fragmented care hasn't solved it. You want someone who reads the whole body, not one part at a time.

THE WORK

Hands-on bodywork, fascial and movement training, and pattern change. Lifestyle and well-being coaching for holistic performance. All in one room, with one practitioner who sees the whole system. In person or online.

THE RESULT

Range of motion back. Training capacity that holds. Patterns you can maintain on your own.  Movement Resilience. A body that's an asset again.

Why Anna?

My work brings together licensed bodywork, movement coaching, and behavior change. All three, in one practice, in person or over Zoom, with one practitioner who sees the whole system. The integration is the method.

Twenty-plus years of pattern recognition behind every session. Two decades of working with elite athletes, executives, and high performers. The patterns I know, I know from the bodies that taught them to me.

THE BODY FLUENCY™ METHOD

Body Fluency is the framework behind every session. It's built on fascia pattern recognition, developed across twenty years of working with bodies under real load.

Three Rs. Read It, Reset It, Reclaim It.

Read your patterns. Reset what's off. Reclaim your movement.

ABOUT ANNA

I've spent my life reading bodies. My own, first.

I was a whitewater kayak slalom athlete on the USA National Team. The sport teaches you something most people never learn. Your body is a system of patterns, and under real load, the patterns either carry you or they break you. You can't negotiate with a gate and a current. You read it, you respond, or you don't make it through.

I didn't know it at the time, but that was my training for everything that came after.

I've been in practice for more than twenty years. I founded and directed the largest soft-tissue program in Division I athletics at Dartmouth College, where I worked alongside the late Coach Buddy Teevens and hundreds of college athletes across every sport on campus.

I was a private practitioner for Jessie Diggins from 2018 through summer 2025. For the past three years, I've worked with the Bear National Team and their US Cycling athletes, and with the women of the WPSL.

At the same time, I've run a private practice in Vermont. And I was a working mom.

The thing I couldn't stop noticing was this. The 20-year-old athletes I was working with during the day were headed directly for the 45-year-olds I was seeing at night. Same bodies, twenty years later. The former college athletes had careers, kids, houses, and bodies that were starting to fight them in ways they couldn't explain. The old injury. The hip that was never quite right. The back that went out every spring. The tightness that never resolved.

They weren't broken. They were stuck in patterns they'd never been taught to read.

You can perform in your day-to-day life without that self-awareness. Plenty of people do, for a while. But there's a trade-off, and eventually it catches up. The thing that was getting in the way, almost every time, wasn't just the muscle or the joint. It was the whole system. Body baseline, nervous system, the story someone had been carrying in their tissue for twenty years without anyone sitting with it fully.

After thousands of bodies on my table (elite athletes, executives, working parents, people who used to be athletes and couldn't figure out why their bodies had turned on them) I stopped working on what was in front of me and started teaching people how to read themselves.

That's the work. That's what Body Fluency is. The ability to stay fluent in your own system so you can keep doing the things you love, at the capacity your body actually has, without burning out underneath it.

And I noticed something else. The clients who kept performing, who came back from injuries, who handled the unexpected, who didn't burn out in their forties and fifties, weren't just the ones with stronger bodies. They were the ones with flexible minds. They had a baseline. They had goals. And they could ride the wave when life sent something they didn't plan for.

Pliable but strong. In the body and in the head. Not rigid, not fragile. Resilient. A body that can take a hit. A mind that can take a hit. And the fluency to keep moving through both.

That's what I'm actually teaching. Not just movement. Resilience. The capacity to stay in motion through whatever your life, your body, and your next twenty years are going to ask of you.

I have ADHD. I used to think of it as something to manage. Now I think of it as the operating system that lets me hold fifty variables about a client at once. Posture, history, training load, the sentence they just said, the way their breath changed when I touched their hip. All of it, without losing any of it. It's not a workaround. It's the work.

I still work with elite athletes in their off-season. But most of my practice is the former-athlete, current-high-performer population. People whose bodies have been asked to do a lot for a long time, and who are ready to stop pushing through and start reading.

My method is called Body Fluency. It's organized around three Rs. Read It, Reset It, Reclaim It. Read your patterns. Reset what's off. Reclaim your movement.

I'm not here to make you feel like you did at 25. I'm here to help you find out what your body can do today, and to teach you how to keep it working.

I live in Vermont with my husband Rob, our kids, and the life we've built around the work both of us do. I practice in Manchester, VT and see clients in Lebanon, NH by appointment. I coach on Zoom with clients around the world.

If something in your body has been trying to tell you something, let's figure out what and Make Your Body Your Asset.

THE WORK

two ways In. One method underneath.

Read the patterns. Reset what's off. Reclaim your movement.

Every session starts the same way. I read your whole system. What's tight, what's compensating, what your body has been carrying. From there, the work splits based on what you need and where you are.

If you can get to Manchester or Lebanon, we work hands-on. If you're anywhere else, we work over Zoom. The hands don't translate, but most of the work isn't the hands.

Integrated Bodywork & Movement Coaching

Total Athlete Care:

Total Athlete Care Coaching and education for athletes navigating the demands of competition and the people who help them get there.

At the nexus of wellness and performance, TAC teaches athletes how to care for themselves: how to listen to their body, how to communicate with their care team (coaches, trainers, PTs, sports med, family), how to build resilience proactively instead of waiting until something breaks, how to advocate for what they need and rest when they need it.

This isn't a treatment service. It's a self-management framework for serious athletes who want to be the CEO of their own body and career.

Past and current TAC clients include athletes from USA Cycling, Women's Premier Soccer League, US Ski + Snowboard Team, NFL, NHL, MLS, Crossfit Games, USA Track + Field, and dozens of high-school, college and elite-level competitors.

Which one is right for you:

If you can get to Manchester or Lebanon and the body part that's bothering you is something you'd normally want hands on, start with an in-person session. The hands-on work is faster for resetting patterns that are physically stuck.

If you're outside Vermont or New Hampshire, traveling, or want to work on the mobility, unsticking old patterns and/or functional strength, start with a Zoom session. It's the same reading, the same coaching, the same method. Just without the hands.

If you genuinely don't know, book a Zoom session first. It's lower friction, and if we decide you need to come in person after, we'll schedule it.

The method behind both:

Both services use the same framework, the Body Fluency™ Method. It's what I've built across twenty years of practice, organized around what I do in every session. Read It, Reset It, Reclaim It.

In person, I read with my hands and my eyes. Over Zoom, I read with my eyes and the questions I ask you. The input is different. The method is the same.
